Meet
Rick Barnett
He's the brainchild behind our operation. He spent his 20s painting portraits but spent much of his time looking for an artistic way to connect with others on a real level. Plus, life as a starving artist with no daily human interaction wasn’t his idea of a fulfilling career. Tattooing became a creative outlet where he could practice art and interact with people from all walks of life. He dove right in, becoming downright obsessed with honing his craft.
Rick's entrepreneurial spirit quickly kicked in. It wasn't long before he took ownership of an existing studio in the Hunter's Creek area. Rick changed the name in 2009, and the first Fine Ink Studio was born. Since then, our family has grown with locations throughout Central Florida.
Speaking of family, we're a true family affair here. From marketing to booking to artistry to construction, the Barnett family is heavily involved in our daily operations.

Our artists are handpicked, vetted, and highly-skilled industry experts. We work meticulously to ensure you have a clean, safe, and comfortable experience from check-in to the moment you see your shiny new work of art. All of our Orlando tattoo artists are licensed by the State of Florida. Many of our artists have graduated from the Fine Ink Mentorship program, our uniquely designed training class for new and aspiring tattoo artists.
